Day five
The class finished up today and I was able to complete the door and one side of the cabinet. After I get home and the paint is completely dry, I will paint the inside of the door and the other side of the cabinet. Then there is some trim work, as well.
This was a great class, especially if you love to paint, paint, paint!

Day one
This is the door to the cabinet I'm painting. Yesterday I backgrounded the piece so I could paint the scrolls today. They were quite a challenge and I'm glad they're done. Next I'll be working on all types of flowers. What fun!

Step by step
The center rose is painted last because it's "on top" of the other flowers. There will still be a little line work, then the inner bead and then the rim. These flowers have been fun to paint.

White plate
I just finished the plate. After all the flowers were done I painted the gold trim around the edge. The white heart in the middle was painted separately and glued in place. This was an enjoyable plate to paint, with bright, happy colors.

Back at it
I haven't painted in several months, but I'm back at it. This is a very small plate, 8 inches, so I'm using tiny brushes. I enjoy seeing the design emerge as I go along.
